Brock Yates visits CAV...

Hi All,

Last evening I had the pleasure of introducing Brock Yates to Angelo Paletta, owner of CAV GT-40 #47 at VIP gala for the Toronto International Auto Show (www.autoshow.ca).

Brock is a guest speaker and also had one of his own cars on display in the Classics area of the event. He was very complimentary of the CAV as we chatted about GT40s, the drivers and team managers and how the GT40 has touched so many people.

So here's the picture, from the left: Angelo, Brock and I. Angleos GT-40 shared center stage with a 100 point GT350 race car, WOW!

A great time was had by all and Ford had a new GT on display as well. Calling all canuks (and all people who like real cold weather!) come on down...to the show.

Interesting.

When you speak to Brock Yates again please congratulate him on my behalf on his biography on ENZO FERRARI. It's a serious piece of work that required a huge amount of research.

Hi Ron,

Brock knows a lot more about these cars now and he was genuinely impressed.

It would be great if more automotive journalists and authorites recognized quality reproductions of signifigant vehicles - be they road or race cars.
