GT40 accident...GT40 repair...Nearly there

Started the car yesterday for the first time since my little misshap.
It started and ran beautifully (made all the hairs on my arms stand to attention) Couldn't let it run for too long as there are no fans fitted yet (and the cardboard on the new rad probably wouldn't have helped cooling) But everything seems fine, oil pressure excellent, no obvious leaks (although I guess that may change when it gets warmed up)
Should be back on the road within a few weeks.
Simon

Not too much has changed since the last few pics apart from the new stainless battery tray (removable) and the radiator/plumbing.

Simon, good job, it looks better than it started if I remember right. Nice radiator and brake boosters!

Really pleased you are nearly mobile again, the car looks great. I don't wish I had an accident but an ally radiator would be nice. BTW don't forget to connect the brake lines - just in case YOU DIDN'T KNOW - you heard it hear first

So it should be ready for Stoneleigh on May 1st? Look forward to seeing you and the car there.

Brian.
