Rep Power: 12 | Practical Performance Car Magazine. I was asked if I could take my car along to Bedford Autodrome yesterday for a UK magazine who want to do a feature on several UK kits. Here's a few pics I took while I was there. I've never been to the track before, they mainly do corporate racing days and trackdays but the circuit was a fairly decent size (Outer GT circuit about 4 miles long but can be split up into several smaller ones) Sound restrictions were fairly strict though - my car was the loudest and is a pretty quiet 40 compared to most !!! 107.5 db @ 4.5K 12 inches from the tailpipe @ 45 degrees. I'm not sure what type the single seater was in the drinks area but couldn't resist having my pic taken sitting in it !!!!

Rep Power: 7 | Re: Practical Performance Car Magazine. Nice pics... that looks like a Formula Palmer Audi you are sitting in to me... Jonathon Palmer (ex Tyrrell Formula Oner driver, qualified doctor and now owner of several circuits aroound Britain including Brands Hatch and Snetterton with the Motorpsort Vision company) came up with the idea of a pay and drive race series of single seaters where they were all maintained by the Palmer team of mechanics. Quite successful for a while although it's lost a bit of cache recently... The Audi engine used to have an overboost button for the turbo... dunno whether they still do.

Have a look just above the '3' on the nose of the car.
Brian.
