Frank Gardner

I have just ordered chassis #9 from Southern GT here in the UK. I have also decided to have a colour scheme based upon the original chassis number 1009 when numbered 9 and run by Alan Mann Racing in the 1969 Le Mans race.

To protect from kids I was hoping to have the rear roundel to be numbered 9 and signed by Alan Mann and his two drivers - Malcolm Guthrie and Frank Gardner.

Does anyone here know where I can contact him in order to send the roundel. For issues of privacy feel free to PM me any details.

Re: Frank Gardner

Heck, look at the lift on the left door top! I wonder if it's moved that much due to the air flow over it or whether it's been wedged open for extra cockpit cooling?

Re: Frank Gardner

I would question the door flexing that much due to wind and air flow over the door.

I do like the rear flares and the opening for the tires. Just looks right. And the size of those rear tires! Wow.

Re: Frank Gardner

The doors will definitely lift, enough to see daylight at speed, if there are no hold downs in place.
