Perusing Spain's and Hodge's books and period pictures, I found a small difference on GT101 and all subsiquent cars. The exterior door handle on 101 is centered in the side scoop recess. All the following cars have the handle located about 2/3s of the way up in the recess.

Does make you wonder about the door moulds as the I would have thought the handle recess was "moulded in"...perhaps the following cars were done with different moulds?
