I'm happy to say that I am now a proud owner of a beautiful 1965 gt40 replica.. the car I speak of is not new to this site. DRB#42 was meticulously assembled by Colin Dalzell in 2004ish.
In the spring of 2008 this car was for sale in Florida but it slipped through my fingers, So in spring 2009 when I discovered she was looking for a new home I decided I would not let it get away again..
so on 5/29/09 the former owner (a wonderful man to deal with) delivered
it to my doorstep...
Now I realy really understand why you guys speak with such passion about these cars....

It really is a gorgeous & well thought out car.
I wish I could take some credit for the build but......
I guess I'll have to be happy just doing some small improvements like
a chain link steering wheel and some 22" spinner rims..
