Re: Ian Braker\'s GT40

Why pay $60,000 on E-Bay when this is still for sale at $37000?

Re: Ian Braker\'s GT40

This is a reaslly nice looking car for a heck of a lot less than it would cost to build. Even if you spent the money to convert it to left hand drive(dash, steering rack, pedal assembly)it would be a bargin.

Re: Ian Braker\'s GT40

Hi all

Thr trans is a Renault five speed and I think the shipping cost to the USA would be around $2500 to $3000.

Re: Ian Braker\'s GT40

Having recently shipped a KVA from the UK, I can tell you that the price is up slightly. I paid approx. $4,200 door to door. Two years ago the price was about $3,000 for my GTD. Still a bargain. Fran Hall shipped a car and a chassis in a forty foot container and the price was right around $5,000. All of the aforementioned came to Mich. and were basically door to door. The company is Sea Expo Freight and they are great to deal with.

Re: Ian Braker\'s GT40

Nice car! Does anyone know what it would cost to ship to Australia? Are these shipped air? Do any manufactures in Australia know how this car would be to register here in Australia?

Yankee,

There is a gentleman, by the name of Ron

Rowse , who lives near Alice Springs, who

not only has a GT40 replica(DRB), but an

original as well. He is a member of the

Forum, so you might be able to contact him

if you have any GT40 questions.Just thought

that you might like to know.
