My CAV gt No.51 should be registered and ready for the road fairly soon. What sort of performance can I expect. I have a ford 302 with 400 flywhhel HP (superflow dyno figure) mated to a Renault 21t
gearbox with quaiffe LSD. The car has airconditioning and soundproofing and is running standard CAV supplied tyres.
I would be interested to know if anyone has done 1/4 mile runs. What sort of 0 - 100mph time can I expect with rev limiter set at 6000rpm.
Your car will go the proverbial bat out of hell, just be carefull of the clutch and transaxle. There'a a lot of American grunt in that V8. To get the most out of the car, the car will ask the most from you. These are demanding and rewarding automobiles, treat her with respect my friend.
