#1 Fan Position

My AirCon fan seems to work fine on the #2 and #3 settings but intermittently cuts out or refuses to operate on the #1 setting. I've pulled the switch that tests OK and I can hear it click the relay on all the settings, including #1. All the connections appear to be tight. Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions?

Re: #1 Fan Position

Call off the hounds! I found a bad solder joint in the PCB resistor. Problem solved. It took three beers though.
If anyone is interested, the personal record is a six pack followed by two boilermakers to find the short in the license plate light.
