I thought i could hear a knocking sound as i went around the track - i know it looks like a strange man with his hand stuck up the wheel arch but it's actually my new top secret aerodynamics improvement device.
regards
dick
p.s. does anyone have any outside shots of the club cars going around the track (with mine a blur in the distance; obviously :-) ) |

task force Roy gathered with a glimpse of his eye on Friday evening to help me with my (hmm, well...Roy´s) tent.
Again...THANK YOU!
Best,

Forgot to thank Dave Champ for interpreting and organising the bread at the local boulangerie.

regards Dick | Dick (& all),
John sent me a message last night saying that they had medi-vaced out of France on Thursday night. Matthew is recovering well and may be out of hospital tomorrow (now today). He also thanked everyone for their assistance and kind words.
I know from what he said in France that he was going back abroad again, and guess he is already out there.
Max

The steering was still in the original position, but apparently special seats were moulded on top of the fuel tanks in both sills. With the doors closed its seems quite claustrofobic though...

I think he deserves a medal for the trip he made
Stirling to Portsmoth then across to Le Mans and return for the event - I would imagine ober 1200 miles return.
Dave - great meeting up and getting the 2 Daxes together
Ian

John | Hi John,
That's odd, when it left me it was a 3 seater!
Quick work!

Rep Power: 9 | Re: Le Mans Classic 2008 11-12-13th July 2008 Finally,
back online after very intermittent and minimal internet access due to faulty modem.
Want to add my thanks to the organisers for a most enjoyable weekend, it was great to see so many GT40s originals, fine replicas and see forum members and their cars in the flesh. The most amazing thing to me was the high proportion of Brits there, and the range of car ages and marques.
Ian, great to see you again, and the whole journey was great and trouble free apart from the rain on the way down. Since I split the journey over 3 days going down, and 2 days going back it was relaxing, and thanks to Malcolm and Wendy for putting us up (or is that putting up with us?) on the way down.
Dave & Kae
