I did cut of the bottom piece of the balljoint and welded in on to the pipe
that's how it's connected to th upright

started on the upright again
i'm going to make a block on top of the upright which is bolted and kept in place because of the shape (it will fit in the gap as you can see on the picture from above ) and then drill a hole trough it so the upperarm and the toprod can be attached like on the usual uprights

i've made a test piece on the bottom to raise the bottom rod
planning to make it attached to the upright(bolted on)

notice the angle difference
but i think the front has to be lowered also
