Balancing Quad 48IDF's by vaccum?

Does anyone have experience's sycronising quad 48Ifs on my GTD, I have a quad/mercury based vaccum balancing guage with requires vaccum takeoff points on each carb, I am trying to set up new late model (spanish I believe) manufactured Idf's that don't seem to have any vaccum points to attach any fittings.
Any advice would greatly appreciated.
Thanks Ron

I would buy a balancer that fits over or in the trumpet rather than drill vacuum take offs.

A lot less work.
