| 427 SOHC specs?
I realize this is only peripherally GT40 related, but I've searched the net for weeks, sent numerous emails (some actually answered), and ordered half a dozen books on interlibrary loan, without finding what I thought would be a simple bit of data. (Since there's at least one GT40 being built with the 427SOHC, maybe I'm not too far out of line here.)
Where can I find the torgue/hp curves for the 427 cammer? In particular the twin carb (658hp) version, but also interested in the quad Hilborn setup I've seen in several Shelby Cobra replicas.
The closest I've come is the dyno data for an engine rebuilt recently in Ohio; but, with a max 818hp, I'm thinking this was built for the quarter mile and not for road racing. |
