LS2 / LS7 Oil Pressure Sender (Relocate)

One for th LS crew...

Turning the intake manifold on one of these engines means relocating the oil pressure sender (so as not to clash with the TB). Is there an aftermarket thing that works well for this?

I saw in Doc's SLC build that his LS7 has it. Where can you get these?

Some guys doing LS into Fiero swaps blank it off and take it from down near the filter. I prefer the SLC approach...

Thanks.

Katech has a modified valley cover, and an aluminum adaptor that allows the use of most any sensor. You can see them at: Search Results -- Katech Performance Online Store

It is specifically designed for Gen4 engines with a reversed intake.

Re: LS2 / LS7 Oil Pressure Sender (Relocate)

I cut mine down, welded it up, drilled and tapped it to a 1/8" NPT, then installed an AN fitting to use for a mechanical pressure gauge on the dash.

Troy,

I used the Katech valley cover and it fits great as Will points out.
