Grey interior

My GTD has the standard black interior. When I can afford it, I'd like to change the interior colour to grey and have the dash covered in grey leather. I saw a GTD with this interior last year (see pic) and was just wondering if any owners found problems with reflections? What paint is recommended for the interior fiberglass of the roof and doors?
Thanks
Simon

Re: Grey interior

Simon, My GTD has grey interior. I'd prefer black as the grey one reflects sunshine pretty much. I need sun glass whenever driving GTD under good weather.

Re: Grey interior

You have two choices, and either will work. One is to paint the sil with a matte finish clear coat like this:

or do the usual clear coat and wet sand with 600 grit to obtain a flat finish.

Re: Grey interior

Simon,
PPG makes an interior paint, DIU code. Classed as a basecoat but no need for clear over it.
I'm not sure what colors are available. I know the black is available in flat and and semi-flat. I'm using the flat over Evercoat primer. The "Slick Sand" primer went on leaving a textured surface that looks good under the black.
