Rep Power: 5 | Ian, The Tirerack has a good collection of technical articles on this page; IIRC they have an article on tire marking: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/tiretech.jsp

Oh boy, that must have got under your skin. These things are definitely sent to try us. Mind you it's a point I had not thought of myself. That's the good thing about this forum, we can learn from each other.

You have the wrong tyres.
VRs are not E marked. Its one of the first things SVA look at.
HRs are E marked.
Thanks
Andy

Rep Power: 5 | Tyre problems Hi Ian,
I have found the Car Bibles invaluable, the section on tyres particularly.
This is more European based and covers thinks like e references.
BTW I thought those tyres had passed SVA once?!
Site ref: http://www.chris-longhurst.com/carbi...yre_bible.html
Cheers
Paul
