Im looking for a openable side window solution for my Ultima GTR. Could you send me some close ups of the frame. Is the whole thing fibreglass, or is the outer frame glass and the inner alloy?

Rep Power: 21 | Re: Quick Release Side Windows Hi Grant,
The outer frame is f/glass from DRB - designed to fully replace the various versions of MK1 & II perspex windows. I can pop out my setup & replace it with a full perspex set if required.
The frames of the quarter window & the hinged main window are aluminium c-channel - bent & formed to size by DRB. All I had to do was to cut & shape a standard full perspex window to fit the 2 frames (easier said than done). The cut-down perspex panels were then fitted into the aly frames & sealed in with silicone.
I'll try to get some more close-up pics done over the w/e & post them.
Kind Regards,
Peter D.
