Foam for trimming seats

I plan to try to trim my own seats...

A couple of things I could do with some help with from you knoweledgable chaps

1/ I want to do the base [pad and back pad in Confor type foam. They have it at McMaster Carr here: McMaster-Carr However they won't ship to the UK. Anyone know of a good supplier in the UK?

2/ What grade foam do people recommend for the side supports?

Thanks

Contact info: Car Trimmings/ Upholster

Cheers

Re: Foam for trimming seats

Hi Brett,

Good to catch up last week

I used a local upholstery supplier, Comfort Zone in Thetford, who were extremely helpful. They can supply different grades and they recommended the base & back in the blue grade and the sides in the yellow. Have a look at their website as they have information on the different grades & uses etc.

Comfort Zone : : Comfort Zone Contact us

They provided the basic shapes & I then tailored them to fit

Regards
Andy
