midnight blue metallic paint code

hi
i,m a classic ford enthusiast from the uk and though i dont own a gt40 they are my dream car and hopefully one day my lottery numbers will come up and i may have a chance to own one .
however i do own a classic ford capri and would love to paint it .
it is already in a solid shade of midnight blue , but i am in the process of a restoration and would like to paint her ford gt 40 midnight blue metallic that i have seen on a 2005 model does any one know the paint code ??, ive also been informed that the paint is supplied by glasurit is this correct ??
any help would be much appreciated .

Nice Capri mate, I suggest that you try a good PPG colour shop and they will try to help with the Ford USA codes.

Not sure of the specific code but there are a couple metallic and pearl blues that Ford produced in 2005. Check these...

Paul,
Your car is probably base/clear. Here in Canada at GM we mainly used (ICI/PPG) and BASF. Ford bough from many of the same supplers, maybe Dupont also. I delt with many of the paint reps.
