Loton Park Hill Climb

Hi all -

If you are not going to the Le Mans Classic this coming weekend but still want to see some 40s being driven in anger, why not visit a Hill Climb taking place instead.

The GTD40 Club are once again at Loton Park, nr Alderbury, Shrewsbury (OS map ref.126/358143) at the invite of the 'Hagley and District Light Car Club' and in their words....

"On 8th/9th July, we welcome the Ferrari Championship back to Loton, plus the GTD 40`s and many other Classic & Vintage cars."

Those competing include Bjorn Arnils (40), Mo McNicoll (40), Martin Hacon (40), Ray Christopher (40), Roy Wing (40), Dave Parker (R42) and Nadine Geary (Daytona Cobra Coupe or 40) - oh, and myself! (40)

If the weather is good, will Rodger Burston's shattering record from 2004 be beaten? It was 58.92s and not one to be easily taken! - Let's hope!!

So come along - say hello - support the 40s and mingle - we are a very friendly bunch!

So get yourself along,
