New member, Hello GT40s

Hi everyone

Just getting started on my build, it would appear design of the tube frame, suspension choice, all other systems need to be selected for the most part

I will be using an Audi 016 transaxle and most likely the Audi 2.23 turbo powerplant which some modifications for power and get the revs up to about 7K or so, we shall see. This will be taken out of a donor car this week if all goes well.
The 016 will get the mods to strengthen it up.. as posted on this site and others.

what the heck, it the closest I can get to a lemans racing machine as both the ford GT40 and Audi R8 won the race with american teams..
Unclear what Ford items will be installed...

I'm still thinking about the 3L alfa V6, however...
