Apology from Newbie (UK)

Hi everyone,
best start out apologising as I don't (nor sadly am ever likely to) own a GT40.

I'm building a V8 classic touring car inspired Cortina, probably Ford 302 based and having had a look round you guys on here seem to really know your stuff when it comes to these engines, so rather than lurk as a guest I thought I should register and "show my face" so to speak.

Anyhow, hope you don't mind (let me know if you do, can understand if you want to keep it to GT40 and replica peeps on here).

Off now to trawl the tech section.....

Later
Jono

Re: Apology from Newbie (UK)

Welcome Jono -

And owing a GT40 is fortunately not a requirement for membership...I don't either...

Good luck with the Cortina - sounds like it could really be a 'savage' beast with a 302 in it and hey it can't go wrong really, as its already got a FORD badge and hopefully - 8 Cylinders!!

Use the search function for answers to most questions you may have and the very knowledgeable membership will I'm sure help where possible with the rest...
