Drb number 12 build

Hi all well Ive just picked up Drb chassis#12, so now all the fun begins. Thought id introduced self as I'm sure this won't be the only time I post on this forum. Having had the privelidge to own a ultima Gtr I thought the next best thing is the gt40. I will post my progress and hope you all can give me your views as I'm sure it will be of benefit. I'm in qld. aust. Went all the way to Melbourne it already had two owners and as it sits is about 70% done. Ont way back dropped into drb to dhow peter who verified its history and old owners. Must say its great to see such brand support ( thanks peter ).
I will post pics of the car soon but it has a Audi 01e trans which is already nearly out and for sale as I will be changing to porsche mainly due to power handling. What trans do you have?

Gee wiz Joe that an oldie i purchased my body chassis in 2005 and it's number 46. You are in the right place as Qld has many completed cars and as you said Peter Ranson through my expeirance will be a great help with your build-----enjoy!
