Alright, Lola Wheels, what is the deal?

So I'm reading on another thread that has a huge amount of thread drift and find this picture of Lola wheels and the comment Lola Wheels in the Making. What is the deal?

Re: Alright, Lola Wheels, what is the deal?

That looks like a really wide BRM to fit some really wide vintage tires that will add a lot of unsprung weight and won't stick as good as my little narrow race tires. Wonder if you can seal off the bottom and use them as beer barrels.....They do look nice!

Re: Alright, Lola Wheels, what is the deal?

I doubt very much that a 'REAL LOLA WHEEL' would have been constructed and welded up like that!

Puts a whole new meaning into the term 'alloy three piece wheel'!

Cheers

Bill,

Visit dymag.com

From what I could see they don't actually show the Lola wheel but you could always e mail and ask about it.

See ya,
S
