Grand Prix Masters

What's anyone's take on the inaugral GP race held at Kylami recently? I thought the cars interesting even if the racing was a tad processional. 1999 Champ Car Reynards with 3.3 litre Nicholson McLaren NA Cosworths. Did they really make some more of these chassis for this series or did they have them left over? Anyway, Nigel Mansell stole pole and no-one, not even 58 year old Emmerson Fittipaldi could get past him in the race to the flag, as I guess 52 year old Nigel has put on a bit of weight and Kylami is a bit narrow! Re: Grand Prix Masters

I suppose I will get slaughtered for this but I honestly think Mansell was in a bit of a league of his own out there last weekend, I think rumours are Frost might turn out next year which will liven it up a bit if he is still willing to go for it.
Mansell seemed the only one pushing the car car till he had to fight with it on cornering during Qualifying.
I think its a reflection on F1 that this and A1 GP as well as TGP are getting any interest.

Something else to watch though.
