Honestly old Mini and cortina are a Power in race, I really didnt imagine that cute little can be so terribly fast and agile on track.
Saw that little yellow passing violently huge cars as ferrari and many claimed supercars(chevys...fords and also a pantera )
More...the driver was surely a great one.The car was like a yellow go kart and only looses in longer track parts,where bigger engines can use the higher power.

Anyway the mini is really too impressive.

What kind of camera equipment are you using and what lens length etc.

I find that a lot of the time the "safety zone" puts me too far away for such good shots

Hi Ian,
I used an olympus 5050c for Imola F1 and Coppa Intereuropa photos.
While for Misano and Imola FIA GT I used a Canon 350D with a 75-300 canon (the old non-USM version).
I hope to receive the canon 100-400 before the 6th of july but it's difficult due to international shipping from hong kong.
