The July issue of Hot Rod magazine is a follow up to their April issue, where they played a trick on the AMC people. They described the return of American Motors with drawings of new cars, and then said "April Fools" at the end. Hot Rod was kind enough to publish a picture of an AMX/3 reproduction with my comments, I am grateful, thanks Hot Rod. The funny thing is I sent that picture as an e-mail attachment thinking that I had very little chance of getting it published. The yard behind the garage is a mess, you can see a black AMX hood I got from my buddy Tim Burton in the background. The reproduction AMX/3 is on a Pantera chassis with Campagnolo wheels. I sold that chassis last week for $1,000. Wait till we have pictures of a reproduction body on the new chassis.
