iphone

Yep, it's great but the 3G promises to be even better.
Some small shortcomings e.g. has limited range of ring tones and you cannot use downloaded music as a ring tone.
1st iPhone would not open downloaded attachments but I think the 3G will.
It is slow to download web pages via O2 (no problem when used with wifi) but new phone should fix that.
In summary it's a great phone and easy to use.
MP3 player, Blackberry, mobile, camera, web browser, and all round good egg!

Yep - I'll second that...

Works really well, the internet access via O2 is slow, but fine for all email activities and the odd google search or map directions. The tariff includes unlimited internet access so is good value I think too.

It has bluetooth that works great with TomTom 910 and the wireless will happily stream youtube videos or BBC videos. It sync's seamlessly with the Outlook Calendar, contacts but you cannot use it as an internet access point for say a laptop..(not really a problem).

There's also a growing number of applications being written for it and the user interface is incredibly intuitive - VERY slick...

My only negative point is that I had to switch from Vodafone to o2 to use it (kept number) which is a bit of a pain as there is no o2 signal at home - doh!

Simon,
One other downside,
It has not got Solitaire on it!
Well I have not found it anyway....you may not find that a negative though!
Cheers
