trade day - Friday....

Anybody else attend NEC show this year...doesnt look like many new products around...new Juno chassis quite impressive and single seater but not earth shattering.... alot of ginetta G50s doted around..

powertec 500bhp V engine looks cool..

most impressive was the products on show made in this textreme material which looked stunning in chequered cloth material..a body in this would be the nuts bollox...
www.exeon.se

apart from that even the "talent" was thin on the ground....

Yeah - I thought much the same - nothing new - not much totty...

The 'little' engine to be used in the Bloodhound Land Speed record attempt car. Just 20,000lbs thrust + another 20,000lbs from a solid booster - should make it interesting.

hey paul...did you happen to catch the price of that 3.4V8 engine..? didnt happen to also get an indication of hours to rebuild??

imagine that in a nemesis :)

The march groupC sitting on the floor without barriers around was nice to get up close and personal to also...

Craig, £35K plus tax ! and then you have to find a transmission that can hold it, even powertech said that might be a problem.

This was a strange combination - a 1985 Chevy Astro Van - well sort of.

Looked a bit 'Max Power' with its graphics and tailpipes.

Mind you, taking a look inside was interesting:
  • 1990 368ci Chevy LT5 32valve quad-cam fully reworked - with siamesed plenum.
  • Full Motec M800 management/instrumentation
  • Air-Shifted 6-speed ZF with Dana backend and carbon driveshafts.
  • Porsche GT3 brakes - Brembo 380mm front and 300mm rear.
  • Independant Coil-over suspension, Penske adjustable remote resevoir shocks.
  • Tubular chassis / cage.
Should make picking up the weekly shop 'interesting'.

it was nice but .....cough.......not that nice..... 30hours between rebuilds i guess also..

the TTS performance supercharged 500bhp K20a in a honda S2000 may have also been pushing the limits... :)

Hi Craig

Nope, although the spec states 30 hours between rebuilds...
