I visited him at his home in 2005. He's a really fascinating guy. He doesn't 'work' in the traditional sense; he owns a small apartment building, lives in one of the apartments and rents out the others. The building has a large underground garage that is his workshop.

He also makes extremely high-end electric guitars--the kind that people pay $50K for? :stunned: He doesn't make too many of those of course. Interestingly, he don't know how to play the guitar!

His Pantera is really awesome, as you can imagine, but his latest project has been optimizing a late-model Corvette race car.
