The People's Democracy of the,,,,, World?

Here's a peek into the world of Liberal egalitarianism! The guy with the bullhorn, even has a lackey holding it for him, HAS to be a very tenured professor of, what, social science, law, American Indian studies, I can't guess, but I do think these are his pupils giving their "open house" event and showing their parents what they got for those tens of thousands of dollars they spent so their kids could have an advantage in this tough economy!

Since when did anyone at University act responsibly? It's par-for-the-course to be difficult and challenging, extreme, even radical. Microcosms of society. Leaders, followers, the clever and the dumb. It's all there folks. Just kids trying to find out who they are.

If you didn't attend a college, no matter, you experienced largely the same stuff in the work place and your local Drinkery.

As a student, you'd pick a class like this to get your grades, or possibly meet girls, but the professor is a work of, well lets say he is full of himself.

They all are though Bob (IN MY EXPERIENCE). Ever spoken to one outside of a class-room? No bloody idea. Not wishing to generalize though!

Plus never forget, a whore is whore is a whore. Not all sell sex. All are just as hungry.

I know a lot of guys who spent plenty to educate their kids. When they were done, the kids wouldn't even talk to them because they found out their parents were evil Capitalists.

IMHO both Capitalism and Socialism are flawed, however of the two give me a capitalist every day.

The lesser of two evils for sure Pete. Way favourable in my opinion.

.
I wouldn't blanket everyone with that Mark. When I taught at Tulane and Xavier there were some pretty neat people there but there are some generalizations that seemed to hold form. I found the economics and journalism faculty to be pretty insufferable. The business school folks were boring but the hard science guys were a great bunch. I personally found the most fun to be the math professors who were party animals.

For those of us around in the '60s perhaps the current "Peoples Revolution" is nothing that new except the violence is far less and the media coverage more favorable.

Re: The People's Democracy of the,,,,, World?

Hi Veek, I was trying, rather poorly, not to blanket, as such, more to indicate that everything is on campus. One man's radical is another mans' conformist and often they interchange given enough time.

I don't like it when students are discouraged from thinking outside of the norm. They must experience nut-jobs from time to time!

As 'grown-ups', we shouldn't get all frightened when we see the next generation spouting rubbish.
