My wifes cousins in Germany just called and directed me to the official sight for the Nurburgring. Seems there was an antique (or Old-Timer as the Germans like to call it) gathering there in early August and the cousin that works for Daimler Chrysler attended. He mentioned that there were a number of GT40's, Lola's and 904's. He knows my favorites! He was overwhelmed and now I know why. The turn out seemed huge as th elionk below evidences.
He mentioned that a bunch of photos of the meeting were recently posted on the official track site. Some great photos. Even a beautiful 904 before and after crash and still being driven hard. Here's the link.
