RCR 40 Headlamp Brackets

Hello fellow RCR builders,

I was wondering what folks are using for headlamp mounting brackets for your RCR-40s. I see that both Tornado and MDA list a bracket/fitment kit, and I would really like to get something OEM-ish that allows (relatively) easy adjustment. I'd hate to reinvent the wheel.

I am using the Neolite 974s right now (not the Valeos) if that makes a difference. According to the Neolite catalog this fits a 88 to 95 Renault (model unspecified) which I am unlikely to find in a local wrecking yard!

If anyone has purchased the Valeos and they come with mounting hardware, please let me know, as that would seem to be the way to go.

Hi Al,
I know Fran just got a shipment of these in, and is planning on shipping them out to car owners. Apparantly he has been waiting on them for quite some time (6-12 mos)
I will be getting mine on Sat.

Rob is absolutely correct....I received 60 sets last week...and I have been waiting almost 12 months.....

I have some OEM Valeo lamps in stock but they do not come with OEM mounting hardware either......

I will be sending the backing plates out next week to all that need them.
