Can anyone recommend a good book on...

Ford small block engines? I am interested in learning about what makes them tick. I am no mechanic and only understand basics of engine principles at this point. Most of the talk on engine tech that goes on the board is often beyond my scope of knowledge.

the first is just a stock rebuild guide, the 2nd and 3rd are guides to hi-performance modifications. If you only get one get the 3rd one, it covers more stuff, and is way more up to date even on the old stuff.
