Goodwood Festival of Speed 2009

Yes, my son and I will be there all 3 days following our charity trip from John O'Groats to Lands End in his 1991 Mini the week before. We went in 2002 but always promised ourselves we would be back - 7 years is far too long.

We're still welcoming sponsorship for our trip in aid of Alzheimers Society - you never know when it may affect your family - every donation helps, however small. You can donate online at Justgiving - Andrew Forbes's JOGLE Fundraising Page.

See you at Goodwood - Mini reliability permitting !

The Club will be there on stand 291, with a Gulf-themed display, 2 cars and a range of merchandise.
Members and non-members all welcome, so drop in and say hello.

We hope to meet you all in the Cathedral Paddock where we are looking after Chuck Haines 1964 Eisert Indy car for the whole weekend, Frank

One of our bretheren is on his way from Brisbane Au. --as a result of a prize winning entry when he insured his car with Shannons, (insurance Co.) all expenses paid etc --lucky sod.
Now, we don't want him converted to warm beer either :shifty:

Lucky bugger, tell him to rug up, even though it is summer over there.

Rug up Pete? Clocks stopped here at over 90 degrees F yesterday and it's been close to that all week. Guess what though, weather is going to break tomorrow so might be some interesting mud displays @ FOS this weekend. Only the extreme 4x4's will be happy about that... :uneasy:
