Fuel Delivery problem

I don't know how many of you have experienced fuel starvation in your SPF GT 40,but if so , here is a possible easy solution. Assuming you don't have gunk in your fuel system, the problem could be pressurization of the fuel system forcing fuel from left tank to right ( causing fuel gauge to start reading higher than it should normally, since this is where the sender is located)and starving the fuel pickup point:idea: in left tank . Solution, remove the stupid locking gas caps and replace with conventional vented caps, or drill a small hole in a non vented cap.
