A little help with the "Search" Parking brake related

I remember some time back a couple of guys were having issues with dragging pads in the caliper and certain bolts wanting to back out but I can't seem to find the info now. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Car will be up in the air the next couple of days for maintenance.
