Too bad you weren't looking about 8 months ago , I was going to sell mine, it's still sitting in storage, but I'll be going home in 4 1/2 months now, and another one wouldn't be ready by the time I finally get home.

Any one know of a spare (surplus) unwanted engine that was replace by a EV drivetrain that would be proper for a SL-C?

Not from this car, it was already purchased by another customer for his SL-C being manufactured now.

Hmmmm after seeing the new 2013 Viper's I would be interested in a trade straight across for one of them even though the SL-C would kick its butt when its finished, I really like what they did with the new body, interior and the carbon fiber panels.
