alcantara vs leather...difference in cost?

as the title suggests....
i greatly prefer the leather over the alcantara and was wondering if the leather costed any more.

I much prefer leather myself, however, I believe it would be scratched or torn or chaffed upon repeatedly climbing in to the car. I chose alacantra for this reason. It is cheaper and more easily replaced. Go with what you want.

I'm not sure what the cost of the leather option is now but when I bought my GT it was an extra $300. I DEEPLY regret not getting it. The alcantara wears very poorly. Mine had a hole in it after only 900 miles. Several people (not me .... yet) have complained about the grommets getting pulled out. Replacement leather seats AFTER you buy the car are $1500 !!!

Listen to Lynn.

Now with 1,750 miles but, 000's of ins and outs while working on and modding the car I have no wear, grommets still intact ect.

I have Alcantara in a Merc' and I agree with Lynn - it wears poorly.
Never again.
