Re: ford gt side view blueprint

Hey Sid ,

Are u still going on Solidworks modelling ? We can create a group and model a GT together with all details. I want to build a 1/10 or 1/8 scale model which includes also suspension system.

Re: ford gt side view blueprint

I'd like to, but I don't think I have the time.

Do you have any reference material for the chassis and suspension ?
If not this will be difficult to get

Have you tried to make car body type surfaces in Solidworks yet ? it is very, very difficult and there are much easier programs to use.

I have started modelling classic racing cars for a PC game and I now use 3D Studio Max for the car bodies. For the mechanical parts I still use Solidworks though.

Re: ford gt side view blueprint

I have no referance material, but i have no time limit. 2 years , 3 years ... Slowly i'll go on. I will not hurry. Also i'm mechanical engineer. I think i can success suspension and chassis.

I have tried lamborghini gallardo, honda integra and fiat 131. I know very difficult. I.e. Gallardo front fender, by solid modelling ( not surface ) nearly impossible.

3dsmax is not suitable for cam and for cam.

Re: ford gt side view blueprint

I finished my side view by Autocad.. Still have mistakes but this is better. Next step, I'll start 3D modelling by Solidworks.

Hello. I know that this thread is 3 years old, but I would be interested in more details about your porsche 908... and I can only contact you through this forum ...
