| Goodwood Revival Went today with work, WOW!!
Going again tomorrow!
They are using Fords two GT40's as course cars!
Bumped into Billy Connolley, just wandering around by himself, not being bothered.
What a place, like being on a film set, fan-bl**dy-tastic.
Simon

| Re: Goodwood Revival Absolutely fab day - lost count of the cars racing (probably the usual suspects but it felt like there were one or two new ones too) but there was also Fisken's in the Motor Show

| Re: Goodwood Revival Well - two days down, one to go and a bucket load of pics to sort.
As I'm providing a write-up for a forthcoming Performance Ford Aus/Nz magazine, here are a few snippets to whet your appetite that won't feature but there will be much more in the mag so do look out for it.
I'll post additional pics after its publication.
ps - A question on the last pic though, of the prop of the J46. There is a cable running from the spinner's hub centre area to a lump on each bladeroot. My guess was a vibration sensor of some sort that would indicate to crew if there had been as a loss of tyre pressure.
Anyone else???

| Re: Goodwood Revival A really scary moment - Jochen Maas losing the Lancia Ferrari in the chicane, spinning on the exit, hitting the wall & flipping over. Mercifully, he survived with relatively minor injuries - how, in a car with no roll bar or seat belts, I do not know. This incident occurred many laps into the race & I reckon that he lost brakes - someone of his experience does not do the chicane at 10/10ths, lap after lap, then suddenly decide to enter it at almost twice the speed !

"TES" is a car that stands out , because of the unique colour scheme and the fact that I particularly like it. I remember seeing pics of it sliding sideways through the chicanes at Le Mans 2 years ago. Just a beautiful car . But it does seem to get about a bit .
