How about "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry"? Great ending.

Is that the one where they jump the car through the open doors of a moving freight car at a railroad crossing?

I tried to find the ending on YouTube but couldn't find it....only the helicopter chase scene.

If that's the one, I second that, Brian!

You mean this one? I believe it was following Lorenzo Bandini when I took the pic as they started downhill to the harbor. This was my first visit to a GP and I was pretty excited to be able to do this with my two young boys!

They are all good in various ways. The Italian Job (original) had lots of great cars. I'd driven to the cinema in my E-Type Jaguar Series 1 1/2 roadster, and it really hurt to see one trashed. Of course I wept bitterly seeing the lovely Muira crashed in the tunnel then bulldozed over the cliff. However the chasing was mostly in Minis and I don't class them as great.
Bullit stands out for me. The sound of that high compression engine as the gears are changed with a double shuffle is pure poetry.
