...now I have to figure out how I'm going to fit in my gt40
'Bit of a rehash, but:
Reading your post, I understood you to say you already
have a GT40 replica 'kit'??? If so, it's too late to suggest what I'm about to suggest! Buuuut, I'm going to do so anyway in case I "understood"
wrong!
At 6'-4" 350 lb, my suggestion would be for you to find someone in the greater Seattle area who has a finished GT40 and is willing to let you to 'take a sit down' in his. Doing that would totally eliminate all the guess work as to whether-or-not you'd 'fit' in one. My own take on it is you'd be WEARING the '40 rather than sitting IN it...and that it would
not prove to be very 'comfy' for you to ride in for any length of time. If you have any tendency toward claustrophobia - I'd flat-out
forget a GT40.
As Fran suggested above,
logic dictates RCR's replica of the Robertson Racing Ford GT Le Mans race car should prove to be
faaar more satisfactory both 'fit and comfort-wise' in your case, Dominick. At the very least it should be far easier for you to get
in and out of one of those. I'm 5'-8"/165 lbs and the >GT40s< are a bit too 'confining' for ME.
'Hope everything works out for you...
