Those hose clamps on the 240’s are not stock. They should be a solid metal clamp. Another question is, what’s the deal on clear filter? Looks like something off a 1950’s Buick straight six.

I did notice different slot counts on the mount pictured. Dave, the mount you built has four, pictures posted in color have two. Four presents a more robust solution. Anyway, oil filled coils placed horizontial was standard, coil bolted to the intake manifold on early 221, 260 and 289 Ford...

Here are some pic's. The sizes are cast into the back also, machining of the centers are slightly different, one has stainless sleeves lining the pin drive holes. One appears to be of a different alloy, not as magnesium tarnished as the other or as tarnished as some American magnesium's 5 spokes...

Came across a couple of magnesium wine glass wheels, 8 X15, same back spacing @ 4" +/-. One has GT40 cast into the front of the wheel, the other MKII along with the size on both, 8.000x15. Any info comments appreciated.

Was talking to Dennis Olthoff about these, as I had thought for ease of spinner install too. He said they were for a spindle nut retaining affair and were not used in may cases and eventually abandoned. But they do look cool!

Any pictures showing locations of line routing, catch can(s),type of fittings used, etc... of the original crankcase venting system? I have seen a few shots of vent lines from the rear of the intake manifold. Was that the only vent, must be a fresh air inlet somewhere? Any info appreciated.
