    Gurney Weslake 351's?

Yes, I did know that the Gurney Weslake heads will work on a 351 (9.5 deck height) block. Have seen them on 351C (9.2) blocks too. I don't think I have ever seen the heads fitted to a 351 block.....in a GT40. Would they flow sufficiently today for a '351' 'race' engine, Maybe back in the day...

    Gurney Weslake 351's?

A Gurney Weslake question..... I have seen that the Wyer Gulf GT40's (and maybe the Mirages?) ran 351 CID with the Gurney Weslake heads. Is this correct, and if so was it the 8.2 (302) block bored and stroked, or were the 9.5 (351W) blocks used? Anyone know? Lastly, Lola T70 Coupes, Mk 3 and...

    351 gurney weslake heads

Rob Kennard also ran a custom (Les Hunter built) 4 barrel intake. Built from sheet metal and exhaust tubing if I remember correctly. Gurney Weslake heads on a 351 block is straight forward, as Kevin has said, just by fabricating a valley cover to suit.

    Another Newbie from downunder........

From memory there were a few GW heads around; I remember trying to purchase a set from Rob Kennard...(too young, could'nt raise the funds)....I think that he had 3 or 4 sets, with both the 4v and IDA intakes. KB still had his, much modified with roller rockers etc and Hilborn injection. The mag...

    Another Newbie from downunder........

Hi Jac, It was as an 11 year old boy on a school trip to PDL Racing in Ferry Road that the Boss 302 thing was started! I did'nt realise that Falconer and Dunn were engine suppliers, interesting! My IDA's (on a 351C intake) came from PDL orginally, along with a 351C 4 bolt block, camshaft, etc...
