    LS 7 oil cooler

Ken- I would also love to see any photos you are willing to provide showing how you installed the factory lines and tied them into the coolant lines.

    LS 7 oil cooler

So I am installing an LS 7 motor and have finally figured out that the contraption on the left side of the oil pan is an oil cooler. There is one very strange fitting that appears to interface with an OEM oil cooler line. I have also determined that there are alternatives made (Peterson, etc.)...

Carbon Fiber look sound deadening mat

Can anyone tell me where to source Carbon Fiber look sound deadening mat? I have seen it used in some of the posts and I like the look for certain locations on the SL-C build. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

LS7 dry sump oil tank plumbing

Thanks Will. This is very helpful. One other question. On the oil pump outlet there appears to be a quick connect fitting. Where can this fitting be sourced or do you know the fitting sizes to convert to standard AN fittings?

LS7 dry sump oil tank plumbing

I am looking for a little help with plumbing a Peterson dry sump oil tank to my LS7. I have installed the adapter plate on the oil pan which has an "in" and "out" fitting, but the tank has three inlets. Certainly one goes out to the in line on the oil pan the other in an in line from the oil...

Fran- Thanks for the information on the suspension washers. I'll follow your advise. I also was trying to look up some information on the Penske shocks I purchased for my car. What model number are they?

    Todd's SLC build

Sorry for the lack of information. I found out very quickly that parts procurement is the most difficult part of keeping the project going. So I have been able to get the brake lines installed, coolant lines as well, started on the master cylinder installation, done some sound and vibration...

    Todd's SLC build

I'm looking for some help from previous builders regarding the amount of Dynamat or equivalent sounds deadening to purchase? 12 square feet seems too little and 48 seems to much. Any clues as to what is the correct amount?

    Todd's SLC build

Ok, so the garage did turn out pretty nice. I don't know if I'll get much opportunity to use the recliner now that the car has been delivered, but it's there in case I need it. So a little more detail on the project. The engine is an LS7 with a Porsche GT3 transaxle. I have upgraded the...

    Todd's SLC build

Here is my first attempt at starting a thread. Wish me luck! So my Superlite SLC arrived yesterday and I am psyched to get going on the project. I have been watching this website for some time hopefully getting some insight from all the experiences that everyone else has had. I have included...
