I have looked lots of threads but want to ask this so know for sure--many here seem to know exactly. Trans? have chance get 1997 A4 5 speed right price. Intend to build driver car, no burn outs and such foolishness, 300-350 HP. Be satisfactory? Cost is also issue for me. Thanks for any info, Dick

Dave, I dont have $60 K invested, but probably 30K in 4 rollers full of tools. I have big variety and some my Snap-ons I have had 50 years already. I like there tools but in todays market there are many others that are very good and "feel" good. Biggest complaint I have is 3/8" flex ratchets...

Hi, I'm newbie and dont know so much. Have to resolve trans issue to get started. Interested in just a car to drive, no track time, popping clutches and so forth, 300-350 HP engine. Can a 1988 turbo 5000 quatro be used? Please advise pros and cons of this or if even doable? Thanks, Richard

Thanks all for your input, I used to work in Ferrari restoration shop and in my opinion doesn't look like a Dino or a Kelmark. But whatever, its here and what I can afford so I'm having at what I got. 1st step here is I need to lock up a trans choice, I believe the only affordable choice for me...
