Re: update... Sandy, I'm not too sure how far the water pump will protrude into the cockpit...I'll take some measurements next time I'm at home and I'll let you know something. I'll be away from home for about two weeks. I think it will be easier to make a relief for this cylinder shape...

Judging by the body I have here, I'd go with 5". 6" would be too big.
