It appears the standard Avon sizes to use on a 40 are 215/60-15 and 295/50-15. With the current alignment on my RCR, there is only the smallest gap between the lead edge of the sill and the tire tread through a portion of the steering travel, and the right side rubs the chassis at full right lock.
Looking through the sizing chart, there is a 185/70-15 which ends up with the same sidewall height, but is 0.9" narrower across the section and ~.6" narrower at the tread. It should help the clearance to the sill and maybe help the rub on the right side.
Has anyone here used this size? Any feedback or regrets?
Any other constructive or informed opinions out there?
