Another one down

Great video, spydermike. I stand corrected. I DO remember a training video, now, way back...like 40 years ago? I confess I don't have a lot of time in General Aviation.
The Continental accident , ghowever, still does sound like a wing stall event, with the shaker, pusher, and the fact it hit the ground flat vs. nose down. Maybe they'll find the tail was iced upo too, adding to the problem?
 
I found the video very informative - I learned alot about a subject I knew little about.

I have been considering getting my Instrument rating, but I don't like the risk increase. I regularly fly through an area referred to as the ICE BOX (CA/OR border near Shasta). My wife wouldn't fly with me anyway in IMC....I might still do it even if I don't stay current, but I usually wait until weather clears and fly VFR anyway. No need to mess with ice over mountains. My planes are not FIKI ceritified anyway.
